Nice to meet you
Since 2010, I have taught and mentored hundreds of students through the admissions process of independent middle and high schools. I love working with and seeing these kids grow their self-confidence and understanding throughout our time working together. Counseling and coaching, I guide students in all facets of the complex and challenging process. I graduated from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Educational Studies and a Masters in Educational Leadership.
My experience in independent schools and educational non-profits solidified my understanding of the value that choice and access play in the discovery of a right fit schools for children. I am aware of the gap that families are facing discerning the wide range of options based on individual student needs. I am thrilled to serve Bay Area families with the scaffolding and tools to thrive in the application process to independent day and boarding schools.
Finding a next right-fit for your on your educational journey comes through understanding who you are, identifying clear goals, self-advocacy and having some tools for when things get tough. Focusing on individual needs and nurturing personal growth and development of the student are at the base of my passion for this work. I am grateful that I get to serve students and families in this way.
